Becas Vallarta and AMF funding comes from a variety of sources including private donations, Becas Compadres, personal contacts, a variety of fund raising events including an annual dinner-dance, bequests, donations to honor or in memory of friends and donations made in lieu of a gift for a birthday or anniversary.  Here are some ways you can help:

• Make a general donation to the America-Mexico Foundation, Inc. US tax-deductible) or Becas Vallarta, A.C. (Mexican tax deductible)

• Sponsor a Student

• Encourage your friends to donate and support the scholarship program

• If you or your friends are of that age when birthday, anniversary and holiday gifts are impossible to shop for, make a donation to the scholarship program in their name instead

• Attend the annual Becas Ball and other fund raising events

• Include AMF or Becas Vallarta in your will

Miracle Gift

“The miracle gift” of a donation to the scholarship fund is the perfect gift for a birthday, anniversary, to say get well soon or simply honor a friend or family member. It tells the recipient they are special to you and honors both of you as caring people.  Becas Vallarta sends a letter telling the person being honored of your donation. Gifts such as bottle of wine, flowers and chocolate are great gifts but helping to educate and shape the life of one of Vallarta’s brightest but neediest kids is an exceptional one.
